Case study: Google (Consumer Electronics). A Google Pixel brand space inside eight MediaMarkt and Saturn stores. Designed, produced and staffed by nonplusultra: 3,500+ live demos of Pixel and Gemini Live in stores with a combined footfall of 17.3 million. Challenge: Google Pixel had the awareness. What it did not have was a place in the store where someone could pick the phone up and try Gemini Live for themselves. A phone shortlist gets built online. The decision to switch is still made in the hand. The second problem was the assistant: staff can sell a camera in one sentence, an AI assistant takes a conversation, and that conversation had to work the same way in Hannover as in Munich. Approach: nonplusultra designed the brand space, produced it, and staffed it. The build is a freestanding wood structure with a live demo wall, so the zone reads as Google inside the retailer's aisle instead of disappearing into a shelf. Brand Experience Specialists were trained on the product and on the story, then briefed on one demo path: Gemini Live first, camera second, ecosystem third. The same specification went into all eight stores. Every week the field team reported demos, verbatim consumer feedback and the iOS share per store, so the demo could be corrected while the zones were still standing. Outcome: More than 3,500 live demos ran across the eight stores. Hannover alone accounted for 23 % of them, which showed Google where the format earns its space. Munich produced the strongest advocacy for Gemini Live, Berlin and Frankfurt the weakest, and that gap went straight back into the briefing rather than into a post-campaign report. The field reports also recorded iPhone users who considered a switch after a demo. Results: 3,500+ Live demos delivered, 8 MediaMarkt and Saturn stores, 17.3M Combined footfall of those stores.
