Guaranteed retail success for Meta across EMEA.
How nonplusultra became the operational backbone behind Meta's European hardware launch — 97% POS compliance across 15+ markets.
“You guys were the backbone of our operation from day one — and in terms of agencies available in this space, you're the best. Point blank.”

Challenge
Meta's first European consumer hardware sales hire was handling everything alone: distributor management, retailer sell-in, and channel marketing across all of Europe simultaneously. Launching VR headsets and Portal devices in a fragmented market with very different go-to-market requirements per country required a single integrated partner. Working across three separate specialist agencies was explicitly off the table.
Approach
nonplusultra built a full-coverage retail programme spanning distributor management, retailer sell-in, in-store execution, and ongoing performance tracking. Real-time reporting dashboards gave Meta's leadership team full visibility across all EMEA markets. Course corrections happened fast. The field team delivered store-level data, photography, and RTS scores from day one — a capability Goetz Lehnig described as unprecedented among agencies he had worked with.
Outcome
Meta hit 97% POS compliance across its European retail network — verified by field data, photography, and RTS scores from 50,000+ field visits per year. A single integrated partner replaced what would have required three separate agencies. Meta's leadership had real-time visibility across 15+ EMEA markets from day one.
